Arbitration and conciliation

What is A&C ?

Arbitration and conciliation are alternative dispute resolution methods that allow firms to resolve disputes outside of court.

Arbitration is a legal process where a neutral third party, the arbitrator, resolves a dispute between two or more parties, making a binding decision.

Conciliation is a non-binding process where a third party, the conciliator, facilitates communication and negotiation between parties to help them reach a mutually agreeable resolution.

How it Works?

In arbitration, parties present their case to an arbitrator who then makes a binding decision. It is an alternative mechanism for reaching out to higher courts which saves your financial cost and time

In conciliation, parties work with a conciliator to reach a mutually agreeable resolution, which may or may not be legally binding.

Finding suitable and unbiased arbitrators or conciliators can be difficult and expensive for firms, impacting their business and reputation. Poorly conducted dispute resolution can cause resource drain, decreased productivity, and damage relationships with clients, suppliers, or partners.
